But I digress, my idea wasn't exactly original anyways. It's essentially a dress-up game with weapon bits that I made after somebody did a "make a sword" game and I asked if I could do a gun counterpart to it.

People still ask me to make a sequel to my game, and I think I might just have to. More parts, scale/rotate capabilities, things like that. The one thing people seem to want more than anything is the ability to actually use the guns, which can be done, but it would be damn near impossible (for me) with the drag/drop and turning it into an object to use later. From what I've seen, one of the best things about my crappy little game was designing ridiculous chain-fed rifles with two scopes and a flashlight, or some other hilariously retarded combination. So I think I'll keep that in mind for the sequel. I have this other game I need to finish first, then I was thinking about doing a quick tamagotchi-like game, then I'll start on this.

So ideas, comments, questions, etc. would be helpful.

you could have as not a drag and drop but use a fixed image with arrows to select the various accessories.

maybe some presets of existing guns?
so that u can see what is supposed to somehow look like, and to explain what some of the bits do, (most are straight forward, but some are rly weird and random, imo....)
And maybe not presets, but basic blue prints, for say handgun, sniper rifle, shotgun,
ofc all must be optional

if u want originality, then don't stick to existing weapons, make up your own (and jet that's very cliché, ironic huh?)

and as 'Super-Sense' pointed out, drag and drop is a bit too cheap, it would be better if things would slide into place once clicked, but that exterminates creativity, then mabye a lego approach could yield a nice rating, with that i mean that when u drag and drop things, they snap into position, but there's several positions for every bit depending on what you have assembled so far, but that would probably require and insane amount of coding...
